One very unhappy cat after a vet trip plus a boyfriend that put the carrier on a slanted seat instead of the floor resulted in cat urine pooling between the seat and back of the passenger seat. I blotted, rinsed, used a wet/dry vac with enzyme cleaners…..no luck. It took three treatments with this, but I think that was because I couldn’t fully lose the car off and some outside air was getting in. But no cat urine smell. I will try to use the Ozzie for other odor removals in my home. So far - amazed by of it works!

I do ride share on Zipcar, even tho I keep my vehicle immaculate people coming in and out, specially the bar crowd it can get a little odorous in it. Even with my air sanitizer spray. I do a wash and vacuum every day, and have a spot dry cleaner for any spills they have or once a month. but I now use this after each full clean or extra ripe customer. Replace my new car freshener and its good as new.
Don't over estimate the smell in your car. First time I used this I set on the recommended setting and its own unique smell lingered for several days. I now set it for half of that time and its good to go. only other time I used it on full was a family members pick up that had years of two smokers in it. After a few days did another half treatment and couldn't even tell anyone ever smoked in it.
For those going to trade in your vehicle, you could break even or even come out ahead. Dealers love to discount for odd smells, specially if that smell is smoke. This is basically the same thing they use, theirs is just industrial size (usually, but have seen ones like these in small lots). They will tell you it's gonna cost them hundreds to get the smell out.
Used it when my nephews basement flooded and they had mildew clothes that were stored among other things. after cleaning it and he took his family to some friends for a week and all pets were out. used it off and on for a week and almost couldn't tell there was damage done. (make sure all people and pets are out until its been well ventilated to lower the molecule count. like a day or so of open windows in that room/area).
As long as you take caution with this. You will breath much easier and cleaner with this.

It is a hard time now, to protect the family is very important. I was trying to find a way to sanitize all goods, clean big surface is easy, but how to sanitize fruit and small things. I know ozone is the way to kill most viruses. So I decide using the Ozzie and box to build a sanitizing box . NOTE: No paper shows ozone can kill sars-2 virus (covid-19), but it can kill sars-1, to use ozone is depend my knowledge and speculation!!!I bought this ozone generator and a big cooler, and insert the gas hose through the cooler's water hole.TIP:Ozone is harmful gas !!!!!!! , so put the box outside !!, after the machine stop work, keep the box closed for hours, ozon can become O2 by themselves. If you need to open the box, hold your breath !!

We recently moved into my in-laws bunkhouse while our new house is being built and had to do some minor renovations. We discovered cats and raccoons have been using the space above the ceiling as a littler box. You can imagine the odor since this has been going on for years. I bought this item because of all the great reviews and believe me after a week of use, it removed all the odors from the 800sqft room. I definitely recommend this little ozzie for any odor issues you may have.

I bought my Kia as a commuter for cheap and it was filthy on the inside, smells of smoke and inscents and whatever else. Removed all the interior and had it all vacuumed and steam cleaned but it still smelled. Tried car fresheners and frabreez but no luck. Put this Ozzie in it for an hour and was shocked it’s now completely odorless! Wish I would’ve bought one sooner. Also works great inside the house to reduce the smell of our 2 dogs by using it occasionally. Only downside is the ozone smell but it’s only there for a short amount of time.

I have a stingray that has been sitting unused for the past few months. During that time apparently the t top decided to leak & when I finally put a new battery i in the car, it has actual mildew & smelled horrid. The last time I drove it a few months ago was to get detailed so of course I freaked out. I cleaned the car surfaces but the mildew stench was unbearable so I purchased this thing. Just got it today. I took anything out that wasn’t attached (floor mats, chargers, change etc), turned the car on, put the AC on high at like 70 on recirculate, put this thing inside, set it for 1 hour, quickly closed the doors & came inside. When the 1 hour was up, I went outside and opened the car windows (the car was still on) and let it run for another 10 minutes then turned it off and let it continue to air out for another 30. The horrid mildew stench is completely gone. I still have a lot of deep cleaning to do & plan to use this thing a few more times, but I’m beyond happy with the results. So much so I decided to write this review... which I rarely do. Side note: the mildew is still physically visible but I didn’t expect the machine to miraculously vaporize it. Pic attached of the mildew where the t tops leaked into the arm rest thing & of the car so you know I’m not one of those annoying fake reviews... those drive me nuts & lead to crappy purchases. Either way, this thing works. Highly recommend.

One of my tenants clearly left this place for his dogs.Feces was EVERWHERE, smeared on the baseboards, and just plain nasty.The smell was unreal.Today soon as the ozzie arrived, I plugged it up and I swear in the 3 hour time, the smell is TOTALLY GONE!!!!I could not believe it. As with the other four hundred review on using this on a car that has a lingering cigarette smell, I must say i'm impressed. I bought a used 2014 ford f150 that had a dainty, stale, nasty las vegas hotel room cigarette smell to it and I had tried the air fresheners, the deep clean, the home methods you name it and it truly was masked, but wasn't cured. I read the review here and thought i'd say i'm happy with the product and with a truck that doesn't smell. To make my review different though i'd like to add the pictures explaining how to do it on your car. First make sure you get the package in the mail, right? :) it comes in a white and blue box, and that box is NOT placed inside another. The actual unit comes with foam protectors so it seemed pretty protected. Second, find an extension cord with the necessary length to run it to a power outlet. I used 25' of 16G extension cord sold at your local home depot for some $10. Third set the unit up on somewhere in the middle of your car, making sure not to block the fan, or the intake to the fan to allow the best flow possible. Plug in the unit to your extension cord and throw that sucker on to 45 min-one hour. Hurry and shut the doors and be sure not to breath in the air it pushes out. Set a timer on your phone for approximately 30-45 minutes depending on the severity of the cigarette smell. Once the timer is up, go back to your vehicle, hold your breath, start the engine and run heat or A/C at full blast and click the re-circulation button as well. Reclose your doors and set another timer for 10-30 min depending on the severity of the smell and size of the car. Once that timer is done, go to your vehicle and roll down the windows (while holding breath), turn the car off, and unplug the unit. Let it air out for an hour or two and it should be driveable.This worked wonders and i'm excited to see how long the clean truck scent will hold up for.

I’ve never used one of these, but I have a room that I spend a lot of time in which smells like Couch Farts. I will be in there and they will come in and scream “dad!“ The worst part is, it will have been like two hours since I farted so the smell worked its way into the furniture. I turn this baby on and get out of that room and put a towel under the door and WAMO! Two hours later it doesn’t smell like farts anymore!Thank you ozone thing, the ladies in my house are no longer complaining.

Big output for the price, sturdily built. Math says the 4500mg unit is a better deal at $70 than the 6000mg unit at $100 on an output/dollar ratio. This unit puts out more than you would expect and will work for homeowners unless you are treating a massive space. Persistent musty smell with undetermined source was eliminated in a 3100 sf home with vaulted ceilings by running only 20 minutes into the primary HVAC intake on the main floor. Ozone was quickly pushed down through air handler and back up into every room via the air vents. Take note that some will state that ozone has a half-life of 30 minutes, that is true for ozone in WATER. Ozone in room air will have a half-life of 2-3 days so recommend starting with a modest time at first to keep residual ozone manageable when you return to the treated space.

Amazing product, purchased some for my airbnb so I can get rid of the Weed or Cigarette smell from disrespectful guests. Works within an hour. Wamn, no matter the size of these degenerates blunts, the smell will be gone before the next guest arrives. NOTE: It does leave a metallic like smell which you can get rid of by opening doors and windows for a few minutes.

Fairly effective. Used to remove smoke odor from a 300 Sq Ft studio apartment. I tried cleaning everything with vinegar and used 3 lbs of baking soda placed in pans around the apartment with no effect. I got this Ozoneator and ran it for 1 hour just as said by the instructions and the odor was reduced but still present. I ran it the next day for 3 hours and the smell is barely detectable.It works well and I am happy with the purchase! The timer is a bit off and runs out faster than it is set for. It is not as strong as advertised but does the job. If needed I’d buy it again.

I bought this to get rid of smoke odor in my rental house. It works surprisingly well. After wiping down the walls with TSP/soap and ripping out the carpet I will leave the machine on in a room for 3 hours at a time and repeat several times. After a few days the smokey odor is down to a low level hopefully with a fresh coat of paint and new carpeting it will be gone forever.

Definitely took care of the old nicotine smell that the Person in the office whom I contacted to get maintenance to use on the apartment told me there wasn’t. even though she wasn’t the one experiencing what I smell. So I used this for 6 hours and now it’s been 3 weeks and I still don’t smell any cigarette/nicotine smell. So it definitely works and money well spent.

I bought this ozone generator because I have a musty smell in the attic and bathroom from a leaky roof. After I fixed the roof and dried everything out there was a musty wet smell that was bothering me. I left this in my bathroom for 30 minutes like the directions said and then aired it out after the device stopped. The musty smell in the bathroom was gone, I then placed the device into the attic and let it run for the full 3 hours. My attic no longer has as strong as a musty smell. The directions say that you can retreat areas after they have been ventilated, so I will hit the attic again. The first pass got 90% of the smell to go away. I am really happy with this product, the musty smell is now almost gone!

After purchasing, I turned it on for 120 minutes in my kitchen/dining room area. When I returned home all of the odors were gone. I have quit smoking and after smoking for 3 years inside, the house smelled awful. This worked wonders! I also used it in my car (30 minutes) and it helped a lot, but there is still a light smell. I did not turn on the air while using it in the car and that might be the cause of the lingering smell. But I will be trying that next. I've only used this twice, but I am impressed. Just a word of wisdom: after running it, open windows and air out the area because the air will have a strong ozone smell that burns like bleach does when you use it in confined areas.

Ok, so here's our story. We moved into a home and there was a really strong, incense smell in a room, particularly in the closet. We painted the walls in the room and painted the closet. I poured baking soda all over the carpet and vacuumed it up multiple times. I sprayed vinegar water all over the walls. These were all "tricks" that we had heard would get rid of smells, but NOTHING was working! A family member who works in the hotel industry suggested we rent and ozone machine. We'd never heard of them before, so we looked into rentals. By the time we would rent one for a few days, it was as much as buying this little machine. So we bought it, followed the instructions carefully, and tried it out. Within a few treatments, the smell was completely gone. In fact, there was a definite difference even after the very first treament. This thing is miraculous and worth every penny!!

Wow!!! This thing is amazing! We have a rent house that has had a bad odor for a long time. I have spent so much money on air fresheners, coffee grounds, Damp Rid, baking soda, vinegar and just about anything you can think of to get rid of the smell. None have worked till now. Trying to remediate smokers odor from house. Repainted after sealing, new flooring then tried this to complete. Has helped some. Machine works well, think maybe I need larger machine. It was delivered on time, looks great for what it is, seems to work as expected as far as ozone production but no way to actually measure it.

Worked great in getting a musky smell out of my RV after a water leak. I used it 3 times on the RV. Moving it to different areas of my RV. Airing it out in between treatment's. OPEN DOORS AFTER TREATMENT AND AVOID THE FUMES. if you breath the smell in right after use. It's not good for your lungs. I aired out the RV with a fan after use for 4 or so hours after treatment.

Purchased this product when a customer smoked in my motel room which was non-smoking. It was an older room which had some other odors. Ran this baby and it got rid of them all. The only drawback (not going to take a star away from the review) is that you must ventilate the room to get rid of the ionizing smell. A small price to pay for a product that does a big job! Next test is taking odors out of vehicles.

A package of ground beef was left in my trunk over 8 warm days. Needless to say my car smelled like a dead animal. Thankfully the package was on a rubber mat, but the horrible smell persisted in the car after cleaning the area of contact. I tried activated charcoal, baking soda, fogger air fresheners. Nothing worked. This machine completely knocked out the smell after 2x 30 minute applications. Follow the instructions. Don't breath the ozone. It will fix your car odor and maybe save your marriage!

The smell of ozone is very distinctive; it's an odor of clean. It removes other odors extremely well in very little time. We have been very happy with the performance of this unit. In 2 to 3 hours we have odor removal for approx. 1500 sq. ft.. It's such an easy device to use as long as you keep people and pets out of the area for the time it's working. I've purchased 3 to date.

This has surpassed our expectations. It quickly generates ozone and gets to work on odors and on sanitizing. We have seldom used it for more than 5 minutes at a time for odor elimination, it works that well. For sanitizing, we set the timer for about 30 minutes and are confident it is performing this important function. Glad we bought this!

We had something die behind our wall in the guest bedroom. The smell was really bad. In 30 minutes of using this machine 90% of the smell was gone. The other 10% left when whatever it was fully decomposed. Naturally this machine cannot make the source of the smell go away. But with a little Fabreeze we were able to use the room. Before we couldn't go in without gagging. Just don't be in the room with the machine running.

Kills off the deep teenager/pet bedroom funky smell very nicely. Leaves a bit of ozone odor that lingers for a few days. But it fades away. Retreat the room about once a month, also worked great in my old car that usually smells of sloshed coffee. Really works on tough odors in small spaces.

My house is 3,500 sf on 2 levels. I sat it near the furnace/ac return and changed that fan from auto to on. Then I turned this item on and left the house for an hour. When I returned the whole house was filled with ozone odor. Also used it on sheet change day to blast the mattress when the sheets were off. It seems to be well built and the price is good. Take the time to do some research on what an ozone machine does. There is a lot of info out there that I didn't know. It reminds me of what chlorine does to pool water.Now my mind is wandering to those times when my relatives stay toooo long. I may set this thing behind the couch, turn it on, and watch their quick departure.

I ordered this to remove smoke odor from a recently purchased car. Before I ordered this machine, I tried a number of treatments that I found on the internet. Non of them worked. In fact, the car started to smell like a soapy-perfume-cigarette smoke filled car that I could not stand. I treated it with this machine and it eliminated the odors. All of them. The cigarette smoke smell came back and I had to treat it again. So far it has worked.

I ordered this Ozone generator and let it run for about 4 hours it took a few hours with a fan and the window open to get rid of the ozone smell but it smells much better than urine. but the room smells fresh and clean, the closet ended up smelling a bit so I treated the entire room by setting it in the closet for 5 hours so far 2 weeks later no issues and no smells. I also tried it in my linen closet to get rid of that musty closet smell and it worked wonders. I highly recommend this product just be careful as Ozone can be dangerious

Yes, there is a metal taste-that is what these do.I have a basement that is below water level (sump in the corner) and it used to have some mildew. It has zero mold now.I have the machine set to be on for 30 minutes/day (I use an external timer and turn the device to "on")After about 6 months, I have to purchase a new array as they get covered in dust/etc. eventually.

We use this at our rental houses and in our own home and it works really well. We have rented ozone machines from stores in the past and this seems like the exact same product. Make sure to remove all expensive artwork, any pets and/or plants, and that you are not in the house while it is running. Read the instructions to use it properly and you will be happy with it!

Has been great to wake up not coughing or sneezing due to seasonal allergies, and/or dog dander (I have two dogs). My home is just under 2000 sq ft, took care of just about every room. I bought this product to help mitigate severely water damaged floor and under sink area which I am sure is has mold. Little foul odor now and no visible mold. The area can't be closed off - kitchen - so does a couple of rooms at the same time. I use it at 15-30 minute intervals so I can stay in the house safely with a door closed and windows open or a/c fan on. Highly recommend for a 1300 ft. house! I am hoping it works on the virus also (sterilization).

I used this in an apartment that had very bad urine and smoke odor from previous tenants. The apartment has been refurbished and Kilz used before paint but the odor was unstoppable and no amount of air freshener, candles, plug-ins covered the nastiness. I set the timer to 2 hours, taped off any possible air flow around the door and waited. I gave the room about 2 hours longer before opening the door and airing it out. The ozone smell hung around for about 2 days and when that was over so was the very nasty urine/smoke/god-knows-what-else smell. My son also used this same unit in an upper level where mold had gotten in behind wall board and insulation and it cleared that smell issue also. For home use this is a winner

I can't believe it. It killed off the mold in the bathroom. It returned a month later, but I can run this again.When I run this in my 800 Sq Ft 1 bed room apartment for an hour, I can smell the ozone from a few feet outside the door.The smell is really very strong and goes to all the rooms.The description is very accurate. This generates a very massive amount of ozone and I have to hold my breath when I scramble to open the windows to air the room out. I don't have any lung conditions but only a few short breaths in a room where this has been running, and I feel like I'm getting bronchitis.Close the doors and windows, set this for an hour or two on a table, and run away as soon as you turn it on!

I purchased this product because my tenants in my 1300 sq ft. home left the place smelling like a zoo-dog urine.There was also a musty smell (mold in crawl space). While i did have to tear out one carpet and replace and I also willremedy the mold soon (and I had the air ducts cleaned), this product helped quite a bit. I left on continuously 1 day and then another time for 3 hours in the other portion of the home. It did not completely remove odor but overall I was grateful for what it did kill. I noticed one more urine spot in the carpet which needs to be replaced. Also ran in the garage for 3 hours because it smelled musty in there as well-and to kill any spiders/"crawlies" that may be lurking before I moved back into the home.

My kids have this habbit of peeing on everything in their bathroom. I dont know how they miss the toilet so much. So their bathroom stinks even after thorough cleaning. I bought this to eliminate the smoke smell in a little car I purchased - from a smoker. It worked great to get the smoke smell out - but it leaves a diff odor that is unpleasant (to me) for several days. I’ve used it 2 times and I still get an occasional whiff of smoke smell. I think it will just take some time to get rid of it all. I paid a guy to do this for me once before I purchased this for myself and this one works better than his. It has paid for itself with the cost of having someone else do it.

Sure enough, after we open the windows and let it air out for about 30 minutes we went and smell the car and it smelled absolutely perfect. I ran this in my basement for less than 2 hours. The smell has gone thru the whole house. The windows have now been open for 7 hours. the smell is still as strong as when the unit shut off. Eyes are burning , coughing . They was nothing in the directions that stated this would linger on for a long period of time. The house is and has been vented now for 7 plus hours. This smell is unbearable. Do not use this machine.

Good enough for the price. I had to replace my other ozone generator that has gone missing.It is pretty strong. I used in a 8x12 room for 2 hours and it took almost an hour for it to air out of 2 windows with a fan blowing in fresh air. However used in the boy room that smells like grizzly bear, 2 hours kind of freshened, but certainly didn't eliminate the nasty. My other machine (that was around $200) totally got rid of the smell, but it had a longer timer on it, so I think it has more to do with the amount of time the ozone could work. This one only will go for 2 hours. I didn't notice that when I purchased it, but it is functional, so I'll deal with it.

Do you have odors you want to get rid of? Have a car, house or room someone smoked in? This thing will fix it. Had a flooded basement that once it was cleaned up still had a pretty strong odor that couldn't be covered up. Ran this device in the basement for its 3 hour max time 3 days in a row, with 21 hours of idle time in between and the odor is gone. It took about a week afterwards to fully get the ozone odor out, but it was worth it. It has been over 3 weeks since we treated and it is still good. Also used by another family member in a car with residual smoke odor and fixed it with one treatment. This leave about 5988 hours of use left on it. What a bargain.

After finally quitting smoking, cold turkey, I rewarded myself by detailing my car but even after cleaning the car as well as I could and replacing the cabin air filter (which was totally gross), I could still smell the smoke so I bought this unit and did a 30 minute treatment, which worked. Not sure what I will do with it now but when I found that paying a local professional detailer to do this treatment cost as much as my purchasing one of the units I decided to just buy one.

So far so good. We have one apartment that had 3 long time smokers in it (16 years). Have been going from room to room with the device, and it is clearing out the stink. We have previously washed the walls with various soap solutions, first professionally, and then by ourselves followed by priming and painting. It's had 4 complete washings, sanded all the wood, re-stained and varnished including the floors, laid new sub-floor and tile in the kitchen, cleaned ducts and coated, replaced all fixtures, sealed inside and outside of cabinets, new window treatments, appliances, fans. The place still stunk like an ashtray. This product has worked wonders in about 10 days. On the bigger rooms, we let it run several times for a couple of hours. Previously, before trying this, we lost one prospective tenant because of the horrible smell. Now, I'm not at all worried about showing it again. If you've got a smoke smell, go for it. You will be pleased.

I’ve tried many things to get rid of the smoker smell in my car from a previous owner and none of it has worked. This product though, has completely eliminated it and while it does have its own unique odor after the cleaning that remains temporarily it fades within a day and will have your car smelling like..... well nothing.... happy to finally have this smoker smell eliminated.

I don't often write reviews, but I feel that this is a game changer. I recently bought a car that like a cross between Micheal Moore's dirty socks and the carpet of a bowling alley on League night. I tried the scent bombs and sprays, to no avail. It only covered it up until the scent wore away and I was left with utter disgust. I ran this for 3 hours and the odors are gone. I was left with a slight smell that smelled sort of "cooked" and after a day or two it was gone altogether. I would buy this again and recommend it to anyone who buys a car that was smoked in.

We moved into a small apartment (650 square feet, single bedroom) where the previous tenant had smoked heavily. Despite the walls being repainted, and the carpet replaced, and all the ductwork being cleaned, there was still a permeating “stale smoke” smell. Like an old casino, or a used car.We purchased this machine, since no amount of febreze or odor eliminating plug ins seemed to work.It took 2 doses, 2 hours each time, and we put the furnace fan on to help circulate. After the first dose, the smell was nearly gone. After the second dose, not a single hint of stale smoke could be smelled.It’s been several months since we used the machine, and we’ve had no return of the smoke smell. I HIGHLY recommend this product. It works well, is well built, and does what it advertises.

Let me start by saying that I am an ex-smoker. I haven't smoked since 2001. I am one of those militant anti-smoking people now. I can smell smoke from four cars up waiting for the light to turn green. So when I found a car that I finally liked and that was big enough for my family, it ended up being a smoker's car. And there was no way that it was going to stay a smoker's car. I used this deionizer one time and the smell is gone. And when I say gone, I mean it's as if nobody ever smoked in this car ever. This thing is amazing!!!!

Removed smoke/pot odors from the pickup I just bought. Turned on the fan in the pickup while it ran outside and ran the ozone generator for about 45 minutes. Then let it sit with the doors open in my shop overnight. Worked great. Cannot smell any odors now. I would highly suggest this over paying someone else to professionally clean my pickup. Nothing to it, just follow the directions.

Does what it says. It kills the odors.I recently bought a house where the previous owner had 2 large dogs. The carpets stank like oily wet dog. Not even professional carpet cleaning could get rid of the odor. This thing seems to neutralize it so far.Pros: Gets rid of the odorsCons: Dial can only be set to 2 hours. There is no option to keep it constantly running. To get rid of the smell in a normal size bedroom takes multiple sets of 2 hours running it. Which, if you want to run it while at work, this means it could take multiple days to finally deodorize a room.Running it while home, even in a room with closed doors, can cause sinus discomfort.

My first experience with a machine like this was in a rental where the landlord thought he could kill/get rid of roaches and other kind of bugs with this machine. Do not use it for this! It doesn't work against bugs!When I bought it myself, it was to tackle odors. The previous owner of the house we bought had let her pets pee on hardwood floors. I cleaned and I cleaned and the odor would still be there. And that's when this machine did its magic. I used it a couple of times and the smells are gone!

I am an auto detailer who has used this product on at least 5 jobs thus far and client feedback states that their unwanted odor in their vehicle was not recognized after weeks and months which tells me that with proper cleaning and ozone treatment using this product works.

Been having a small odor problem the last few weeks where I’d catch a whiff of something sour when I walked in the door. Nothing major, and the initial whiff was all I ever got, but it bugged me either way. I wasn’t sure if it was something left from the flooding, or maybe from the well water, or God knows what else.So I decided to grab an air purifier/ozone generator. This one showed up today and seems to have been exactly what I needed! Turned it on this morning before I went to breakfast with a friend, and when I got back the whole apartment smells fresh and clean! Here’s hoping it stays that way now!

This unit produces a LOT of ozone. I used it in a 2000 sq. ft. house with the A/C fan running continuous. I only set the timer for 30 minutes but could smell the ozone 4 hours later when I returned to check it out. Once the ozone dissipated, there was no lingering stale air odor. I suggest 2-3 applications rather than trying to nuke the place all at once. But the 3-hour timer is there if you really need it. If a negative ion generator does not solve your problem, this unit is what you need to move to the next level. Just remember to be careful working with ozone.

We purchased an old home and it has an old musty smell. We have used is several times now, (You have to be gone and allow time for the house to air out before returning, so that’s a bit inconvenient) It has made a difference but it has not eliminated the smell entirely.

We have had this ozone generator for a while now, and have used it several times, a few times in the house, and many times in our car. That sweaty, stale odor that builds up in the auto from trucking teen athletes all over the place? 20 minutes run time with this generator, and that odor is gone! It's the same with the house. It's closed up through the winter, or summer, and those odors from pets, and kids, and just every day living build up. This little generator handles a 1000 sq ft in just under an hour. This summer we raised a few chicks in our garage. Once the pullets were big enough to move out to the coop, we set this generator up, ran it for 40 minutes, and the garage was odor free. It's easy to use, fits perfectly on a shelf when not in use, and so far, we haven't had any problems with it.

We have an old building so I was looking for something that could help freshen the air. We have a 14 year old cat who stays mostly confined to our master bedroom due to some incontinence. The room had gotten pretty smelly, despite repeated carpet cleaning and regular litter box changes. This definitely takes care of the odor quickly.Read the instructions! Do not run it in an enclosed space with humans or animals in the room. The smell is strong, and lingers somewhat.AFTER I bought it, I found a paper from the state of Connecticut saying that ozone generators do not actually counter odors, and that the perceived effect of this machine is actually due to your nose being made less sensitive. I'm glad I read that paper AFTER I'd already bought it, or I might not have tried it. It really worked nicely to obliterate the pet smells.Do expect a lingering ozone scent that stays for a couple of days, even after leaving windows open and a fan running. The smell does dissipate, though, and isn't unpleasant to me or my wife. We are very much pleased with this purchase.

I bought this to use on my room, as my mother and sister wouldn’t stop complaining about it having a “boy smell”. I don’t know what they expected after making three teenage males share a 14’x12’’ room. But this thing! Dang! Once you use it, it leaves behind a certain smell, but that smell would be better described as a complete absence of any scent whatsoever. It turned the air in the room into a clean slate that you could easily turn into whatever sent you wanted. Burn a few sticks of incense after, pop open a Renuzit gel air freshener, and you’ll smell nothing but that for months, this machine worked absolute wonders.

I remodeled a 1960's home with a musty smell in the basement...something I didn't realize was bad until living here with the entire main floor brand new. I was worried about the warnings of not having living things near the unit when running it, but mine is in the basement and I run it once a day. I have learned that my dogs are safe. I was impressed after the first time, but I soon realized I needed to run the machine daily for a month or more. I'm also painting the walls and floor of my basement, so I can't 100% attribute the elimination of the smell to the ozone machine, but I no longer have the smell. Highly recommended!

I bought this mainly to deal with pet odors in my house, and also because my wife has many allergies, so it seemed like a good idea to complement the air filters in the house. This machine is the 11,000 mg/hr size, and really seems to work great. I have only used it in one room, and after one treatment of 2 hours, there is no pet odor at all. Have yet to use it in the main part of the house where there is also significant odor from the dog.

I just used it today for the first time. Well packaged. Seems very well made and worked as directed. It’s too soon to know if the odor is gone for good since it’s only been a couple hours of airing out. But so far seems to be exactly as described. I was expecting it to be harder to operate but it’s fairly simple.

I live in the south where it is frequently humid, muggy and miserable which make odors even worse especially in a vehicle that smells like cigarette smoke. When my Ozone Generator came in last week, I cleaned my car good, ran the generator for 45 minutes and then let it air out for a couple of hours. After letting it air out, the smell of smoke was pretty much gone. I ran the generator again for 45 minutes with the AC on high for about 15 minutes. The second round did the trick. It has been about a week now and my car smells pretty good. No smoke odor that I can tell. As far as the generator itself, it is easy to use and I did not experience any mechanical problems. I hope I get a good long life out of it. It was well worth the money for me and I am happy with my purchase.

I flip houses on weekends and usually end up with ones no one else wants. My current find had garbage EVERYWHERE. One bedroom was particularly filled up and I took out 30 black garbage bags of cigarette butts, packs, food containers, and trash. The place reeked.Even though I don't have carpets out yet, I removed 24 bags of clothes and other soft surfaces and ran this ozone generator in the sealed house for three days. The stench is absolutely GONE. Pure miracle.I did give it four stars because it has a timer and a "hold" setting. It now won't come off the hold setting, but it's not a big deal because the places I get will need a couple days anyway.

It works. Mildew smells, cigarette smell, general gross, funky, odors. Don't walk in while it's running and make sure your HVAC is off if you're using it near/in a room with an air intake.UPDATE 11/2016-I have used this several times. I have used it in my car after a few weeks of cigar and pipe smoking: works PHENOMENALLY!-I used this on my mother's car after she had a stroke to kill the cigarette odor: 90 minutes and 4 years of near chain smoking GONE!-I loaned this to a friend whose brother in law had vomited in his truck. The vomitus (stomach particulates) went into the vents, too. I instructed him to run it for 30 minutes then, turn the car on, change the air to 'recirculate' and run it for 30 more minutes. IT WORKED!-I have used this in my crawlspace to kill the musty odor of mildew: it worked.My only unsuccessful use of this has been when I tried running it during this year's Presidential election; it did nothing to clean up the race or to clear the air.

i don't know where to begin with this little guy we have had lots of water in our basement through the years. the basement developed a musky smell to it very bad. I have purchased many deodorizers and bombs through the years nothing worked. I hooked this bad-boy up and within 8 hours that terrible smell is gone replaced by a sort of clean smell smell I cant place my finger on it but it is much better to smell than what I had!Instead of having to run down constantly to turn this on I have modified it and put a cheap Walmart timer on it. With this I can deodorize as many times a day as I want. Right now I have it on 2 hours early in the am and one in the afternoon. All musty smells are now gone. Amazing!!!I would recommend this product to anyone to use to clean up smells they don't like. What a machine!!!

Hospitals use devices like this. the area needs to be vacated by people and animals when used. it will smell like bleach when you return. well worth it. you can even remove smoke smells in your car with this.
